Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Med Surg/PACU, the RN Clinical Coordinator responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital and their effect on patient care. The RN Clinical Coordinator has the authority to make decision on that unit in the areas of patient care, human resources, and financial management. Responsible to Director for nursing specific training, education and problem resolution.
 
Qualifications
 
*Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
*Five years of nursing experience. 
*Current Louisiana State Board of Nursing licensure as Registered Nurse
*BLS, ACLS, CPI certification required
*Demonstrated leadership ability.
*Effective communication skills and the ability to deal well with people, problem solve, confront/resolve issues, motivate others, to plan, and organize and direct the activities of others.
